Full Immersive Permaculture Course 20th - 29th August
The ecovillage is hosting a full immersive permaculture course run by the Cultivate Centre. This intensive course offers the unique opportunity to learn permaculture embedded in a real living community. Click here for more information and contact details.
Eco-hostel and Learning Centre under construction
Construction of the 32 bed eco-hostel is well underway. The hostel will provide affordable quality accommodation and learning activities for our guests, and promote the ecovillage philosophy of community, sustainability and ecological and environmental awareness. Cloughjordan Festival 2010

VINE launches high speed broadband in ecovillage!
VINE (Village Internet Network Engineering Ltd) was set up by some members of the ecovillage to provide telecommunications services for residents in the ecovillage and surrounding area, using fibre optic network. Read more about VINE.
Residents living in the ecovillage!
The first residents of the ecovillage have moved into their new homes. A further 25 houses are currently under construction using a wide variety of ecological materials including lime-hemp, recycled timber blocks and low energy timber frame.
